Your radio commercials should be 'conversations with your customers.'

Most commercial messages are just announcements – lists of facts about the advertiser's business: when they started, how friendly their staffs are, you know the drill.

Customers aren't interested in those things. They want to know if a business has what they want and if it's at a price they wish to pay.

Jingles!

I'll wager ninety-nine percent of all radio jingles do not accomplish their purpose, which is to create memorable, entertaining awareness and to give the customer a reason to take action.

This is because an effective jingle must be every bit as good as a hit song. Most aren't. In fact most are downright annoying!
